Hotel Indigo Karuizawa By IHG

The design, staff and experience were all phenomenal. The hotel room was of very good size and with the lake view, you totally relax and enjoy your holiday.

It should be made clear the public bath is artificial warm water, not proper onsen. That said the spa was still immaculate, especially the outdoor pool. The shuttle bus doesn?t run very often, but it?s only �2k by taxi.

It was clean and breakfast was really good.

They could use more amenities. It didn’t have a welcoming feeling.

The hotel is nicely designed and blends in perfectly with the surroundings. It offers relaxing atmosphere while being close to attractions, including the Karuizawa Prince outlet. The indoor and outdoor public bath are clean and comfortable.

Very comfortable stay, loved the design and breakfast, the spa experience was one of the best I had ever had.

We had two connecting standard rooms but it felt a little tight. The hotel also felt smaller than pictures.

Hotel Indigo Karuizawa offers top-notch facilities with thoughtful details. We especially loved the high-quality pajamas and kimonos, and the bathhouse was excellent—complete with indoor/outdoor onsen, sauna, and cold bath. Breakfast was one of the best we've had in Japan.

The heating was a bit excessive, and the air conditioning struggled to cool the room in the afternoon. A private onsen option would’ve been a nice addition.

It is a resort kind of place.. room was spacious with everything you need. Breakfast was great too.. more on the healthy kind of breakfast. The whole experience was comfortable and amazing.

Such a beautiful property! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The breakfast is delicious. The staff were so kind to us - going so far as to mail my daughter's phone charger to our hotel in Kyoto.

<Services> Great reception services and lounge area -- freshly made hot chocolate & friend staff. <Facilities> Clean & modern hotel with spacious bathing area and gym facilities. Appreciate that almost everything in the gym were made of wood/ made in wooden colour tone.

The room (family room for 3 adults) was a bit small but I can understand as Karuizawa is a popular destination and closer to the busy city.
